BJP Win the NCT of Delhi Assembly Constituency 2025

NCT of Delhi

In 2025 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections on February 5, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) secured a decisive victory, winning 48 out of 70 seats. This marks the BJP’s return to power in Delhi after 27 years. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which governed the capital since 2015, managed to secure 22 seats. A key highlight of the election was the defeat of AAP leader and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the New Delhi constituency, where he lost to BJP’s Parvesh Verma.

The election results have transformed Delhi’s political landscape, ending AAP’s decade-long rule and reinstating the BJP at the helm. The next steps will involve forming the new government and implementing BJP’s policies to drive the city’s development.
