✅ 1. Eligibility (Qualifications) for Governor

A. Constitutional Qualifications
A person must:
- Be a citizen of India
- Be at least 35 years of age
- Not hold any office of profit
(Unless he/she resigns before assuming office)
B. Additional Constitutional Conditions
- The Governor must not be a member of Parliament or any State Legislature
(If selected, the person must resign before taking oath) - The Governor should not hold any position giving financial benefit from the government.
C. Other Considerations (Convention-based)

- Should be a person of good public standing

- The Governor can be removed earlier by the President at any time

- Even after 5 years, the Governor continues until the next Governor joins.
D. Reappointment
- A Governor can be reappointed for another term
